flowery.

Benetton blazer, Wet Seal dress, Charlotte Russe tights, Forever 21 flats, (Gifted) ring, Forever 21 earrings, OPI A Grape Fit nail polish
Wearing flower prints always makes me happy.  Not only does the pattern remind me of springtime, but pieces of clothing with flowers on them are usually pretty cute.  This dress was an amazing find.  Not only was it on sale and in my favorite color, but it is also the most comfortable dress I own.  I even found floral tights to match!

love.

Aerie shirt, H&M skirt, Charlotte Russe tights, Nine West heels, Aeropostale belt, Aerie necklace, (Gifted) earrings
I didn't want to go all out red and pink this Valentine's Day.  Instead, I opted for a much subtler ode to the holiday with a pink shirt and heart earrings.  I also decided to pay my respects to my one true love:  leopard print.  I mean, come on.  What other print acts as a neutral and looks awesome at the same time? Nothing...that's what I thought.  Have a great day everyone!

lovely nails.

Nicole by OPI Got Style?, Nicole by OPI I Pink I Love Him (top sparkle)
I love holiday nails.  There are so many different ways to get creative with colors and designs.  For my Valentine's Day nails, I opted for a darker, shimmery pink that looks lovely with some silvery-pink sparkles on top of it.  I must say I'm pretty pleased with how it came out.
What are you guys doing with your nails for Vday?  Let me know in the comments!

pile it on.

Express hat, American Eagle peacoat, Jolt vest, Aerie cardigan, Garage t-shirt, Abercrombie and Fitch leggings, G by Guess boots, Burberry glasses
OK, so as much as I complain about cold weather, I must admit that there is something good about it.  That thing would be layering.  I love layering my clothing.  It's a fun challenge to figure out what works with what and how many sweater-like pieces I can wear without looking like a kid in a snowsuit.  Today's total would be three, or four with the jacket.   Not bad, huh?

lacey.

Issi shirt, Bozzolo cami, Abercrombie and Fitch jeggings, Fusion flats
Putting on a little lace adds an instant elegance to any outfit.  It is simple and beautiful at the same time and makes any outfit feel slightly more special.  I love the cut of this particular shirt. It has a loose neck and wide, flowy sleeves.  It's a perfect way to wear winter white or to make an ode to summer.  And let's be honest, who doesn't want a bit of summer right now?
