stuffed peppers.

Stuffed peppers are so simple and yet so rewarding.  It took me a little while to come up with this exact recipe, but I am so glad I finally did.  The result is mouth-watering.

Ingredients:  4 peppers, sun-dried tomato oil, 1 head of garlic, 10 thinly sliced sun-dried tomatos, parmesan cheese, shredded provelone mozzarella cheese, 3 cups cooked long-grain rice, seasonings

Recipe:
-Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
-Chop garlic and fry in oil.
-Mix into rice, leaving the oil in the pan.
-Fry sun-dried tomatos in leftover oil and then add to rice mixture.
-Add parmesan cheese and seasonings.
-Clean and cut the tops off of the peppers.
-Stuff with rice mixture and cook for 45 minutes.
-Remove from oven and put both cheeses on top of peppers.
-Cook for another 20 minutes.
-Let cool slightly and enjoy!

velvet black.

I know that my last post was on spring clothes and warmer weather, but today was cold and definitely did not deserve florals or pastels.  So, I opted for a darker outfit that feels slightly luxe with the velvety trimming on the shirt and the black spikes on the shoes.  I must admit that I did feel pretty cool wearing it.

spring style.

spring style.
                                                                                     spring style.

I don't know about you, but I am so happy that it is finally spring!  It has been cold and dreary for way too long.  As I wait for the temperature to warm up, I am definitely preparing myself for the new spring styles.  I'm lusting after some new floral and neon pieces.  I can't wait to get some of this stuff in my wardrobe!

egg heaven.

I know this is probably not what you expected, but food is just as important in my life as fashion is.  I love trying new things and cook a lot in my free time.  This is a simple recipe that makes a great breakfast or lunch.  It is so quick and delicious that you may even have time for a second.  Enjoy!

Recipe:
-Slice and toast a bagel (I used an asiago cheese one).
-Fry an egg over easy.
-Put a piece of salami on top of the egg.
-Add cheese on top of the salami.
-Put the egg on the bagel and add a few slices of tomato.
-Finish with some ground pepper.
