california vintage.

Who.A.U. shirt, Forever 21 skirt, Unionbay sandals, Betsey Johnson sunglasses

This shirt isn't vintage, but it certainly feels like it. I've had it forever and it continues to get softer and sweeter with every wear. I love dressing it up with proper pieces like this ballerina skirt (also very well loved). The overall look is "casual pretty," and I'm all about it this summer season.

ipsy august 2016.

Subscription bag goals right here!
This entire Ipsy August bag is seriously beautiful. From the products to the actual bag itself, everything about this month's collection has me head over heels. I'm itching to try it all out!

The Bag: As soon as I saw Michelle Phan's two designs, I knew I wanted the blue one over the purple one. So happy I got this! The artwork is dreamy and has me wanting to show off my new makeup bag to everyone.

Luseta Argan Oil Hair Mask: I love masks of all sorts, so I was thrilled to get a moisturizing one for my hair. I like to apply these once a week to two weeks as a little treat to myself.

IT Cosmetics No-Tug Mini Gel Waterproof Eyeliner: The name's a mouthful, but the product inside is worth it. Although I have a ton of black eyeliners, I'm happy I got this one. The shade is a pigmented matte black with commendable staying power.

Pacifica Sundreams Lotus Infused Bronzer: Pacifica and its all natural product stance make the brand a true favorite in my book. I love a lot of their products, and this bronzer is no exception. There's not a hint of orange, which is a major turnoff for me, and the amount of sparkle is minimal.

Trust Fund Beauty Liquid Lipstick in K, Bye: I was somewhat upset when I first saw this product online. It looked way too baby pink for me! However, I changed my mind immediately upon receiving it. It's the perfect 90s nude pink. I plan to get a ton of wear out of it as summer winds down and cooler temperatures arrive. Plus, the full size container is amazing!

Winky Lux Diamond Complexion Powder in Medium: My initial reaction to this was that I loved the packaging but had no idea what the product was. After checking out Ipsy's tutorials, I'm now excited to test this out on top of my concealer. We'll see how it goes!

Happy August! This Sugar Highness theme was oh so sweet for me.

black denim overload.

Abercrombie & Fitch jacket, American Eagle shirt, H&M jeans, Rock & Republic flats, H&M necklace, Aeropostale earrings

Vintage oval ring and Forever 21 leaf ring

This has been the summer of skirts and dresses for me. It's been too hot to even consider wearing pants! Recently, however, we had an overcast and (dare I say it) slightly chilly day. I took it as the perfect opportunity to wear this softly distressed denim jacket for the first time. It's just a teensy bit oversized and I absolutely love it. I decided to emphasize the edginess and pair it with more black denim and heavy silver accessories, like this dramatic chain necklace from H&M.

Loving how this turned out and will 100% be wearing this come fall!

autumn shopping list.

autumn shopping list.

Fall fashions are so good this year! I had such a hard time deciding my favorite seasonal picks. Shocker to no one, I ended up going for a tried-and-true color range of burgundy, black, and tan. They just seem like the perfect colors for the cooler months, and I can't get enough of them in my closet.

I'm obsessed with all of these options, but I'm particularly in love with the choker necklace, oxford shoes, and cat handbag. The details really do have the power to make or break an outfit!

What are you loving this season?

acid wash.

Rolla Coster shirt, Almost Famous jeans (converted to shorts), Rampage sandals, American Eagle purse

It's hot (and no, I'm not exaggerating). With NY heat advisory warnings in full effect, staying cool is the way to go. Enter acid wash shorts. Not only are they literally cool, since they leave most of my legs bare, but they also look pretty cool too. These shorts used to be full-on acid wash jeans, but I cut them after graduating high school and simultaneously deciding that two completely covered legs of the style was a bit too much for me. Now they're one of my favorite summer pieces.

Hope you're surviving the heat wave!
