slice of summer.

So I must admit, I am not the biggest fan of cake.  Give me the choice and I would take ice cream over cake any day.  My one exception is toasted pound cake with some fresh fruit and whipped cream.  It's just amazing!  I don't know how to explain it, but when they all come together on one plate, it's magic.

It was so beautiful out yesterday.  Yes, it is getting hot, but the sun is shining and the flowers are blooming so I can't complain.  The beautiful weather inspired me to try out these polka dot pants.  I mean, you can't get much happier than purple polka dots, right?

The denim jacket is a wardrobe essential.  If you don't own one, I would suggest that you begin the search immediately.  The right jacket can make any outfit look great.  It can make a dressy look more casual or it can add structure to a relaxed outfit.  I found this one a few years ago and haven't let it out of my sight since.  I'm still amazed by how it works with practically everything.
